Marilyn Manson Rock Is Dead
NOTE: The show was aborted after Marilyn Manson saw that one of his crew members, as an end of tour prank, had replaced the shock logo on the pulpit used during Antichrist Superstar with a yellow smiley face. Manson left the stage after the 1st chorus of the song. Riots broke out outside of the venue afterwards. Upset fans took to the streets, blocking traffic, flipping over one vehicle, set several trash cans on fire, and shook Manson's tour bus, nearly tipping it over. The riots were covered by MTV, and local news outlets. Soon after this show, Manson announced the cancellation of the next five shows out of respect for the Columbine, Colorado shooting victims and their families, ending the Rock is Dead tour early.
