NOTE: For about a month, Letterman sang the "Black" guitar riff "Doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo", mentioned "Eddie" on camera in bits, and Paul Shaffer & band played an instrumental "Black" in between segments on the show. Vedder surprised Letterman with this partial performance.
