NOTE: One of the most magical nights for J.S. The Next Generation. Billed as the Benefit Memorial Concert for the family of Papa John Creach, the show marked the return of Grace Slick. David LaFlamme (It's A Beautiful Day) on violin and Merl Saunders on keyboards joined the band for John's Other. Darby Gould and Grace Slick were the vocalists. The event was recorded for a live CD released in 1995, Deep Space/Virgin Sky. In 2003, the CD was reissued with bonus tracks, Deeper Space/Extra Virgin Sky. It contained the complete performance. The Marty Balin composition Papa John made its debut. The song written in honor of Papa John Creach is often listed incorrectly as Papa John's Blues or another one of his solo material tunes.
